I drew attention to what I regarded as a fault in this bath. The person who came to inspect it from the manufacturers was very much less than sympathetic and absolutely refused to replace it. Further phone calls go nowhere. My energy to go on complaining ran out....just take a bath and try to forget it! Pity really because this is an excellent product, well designed, looks good and, as far as I know, was easy to install. It was well priced and arrived as promised.

Konstantinos Asked :Hi there! I am looking at ordering the Pura Essence 1500 x 640mm Freestanding Bath - PB109. Would I be able to fit this coolfill for single ended baths? (https://www.bathstore.com/products/coolfill-for-single-ended-baths-1619.html) If you could let me know asap, I'll place the order. Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you! Kind regards, Konstantinos
Thanks for the query. Unfortunately, we cannot advise that this will fit. You can refer the options available for waste and filler. Product code: QS-V72179 (https://www.qssupplies.co.uk/bathroom-furniture-shower-taps/90184.htm) the same is also available as an option on the same product page (OP-44087 - Filler Waste And Overflow Chrome - BF125EXTD).
Jackie Asked :How do you connect the bath to the waste? I am aware that I will have to build a framework to set the bath on, but how do I get at the connections to join them?
As an ex-installer myself, this is not an easy task but can be done! I would advise having your outlet pipework in the floor ready and use a 1 ½” flexible waste connector from the bath trap to your outlet pipework. Either connect the Flexi waste to the pipework and then to the bath trap or the other way round, whichever is easier. This would need to be done with someone tilting the bath back slightly so you could reach underneath and connect pipes to waste. The bath could then be lowered down to its final position, and the Flexi would allow for any slight movement on pipework. You could also do a leak test on pipework and connections by propping up the front of the bath on a small piece of 4x2 timber and observing underneath for any leaks.
