Roper Rhodes Compact Thermoset Plastic Shower Seat

This has proved to be a sturdy shower seat, however it requires good solid fixing to the wall. If fitting to a tiled plasterboard wall, there could be difficulty locating the underlying beams. This was not a problem for me as I fixed it to a solid block wall. The instructions say a socket set is required to the bolts - no problem I thought, as I have a comprehensive socket set. However, the top bolts (the ones which have the greatest tension) require a very slim socket in order to fully tighten the bolts, the plastic straightening on the seat does not give sufficient room for a standard socket to be used. I had to remove a small amount of the plastic and spent a considerable slimming down my socket on a grindstone before I could fully tighten the top bolts. However, the 'modification was insufficient to affect the strength and I am now pleased with the result

I was having my bathroom refitted and decided to include a seat in the shower enclosure. However, I did not want it to look obvious, clumsy or like an old person's aid, even though I am now in my 70s! This product fits the bill perfectly as it folds tight to the wall and is hardly noticeable against the white tiles. I am very pleased that I had it fitted and am sure that I (and my family and friends who come to stay) will find it useful in the future.

Good product as advertised. I had some problem fitting to the wall as it was originally hollow plasterboard. Installed stong batons behind plasterboard and now works fine. Stylish and space-saving. Would recommend.

This was a really good shower seat. Purchased this for my grandma and she really likes it and it is super helpful. Would definitely recommend this for the elderly who need extra assistance in the bathroom.
